The tool
myRScore is a free tool that estimates the R score, or cote de rendement au collégial, from the information you enter. By using the site, you accept these terms.
An estimate, not an official R score
The R scores shown by myRScore are estimates. Only the R score calculated by the ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, which your CEGEP and the universities give you, is official. An estimate can differ from the official R score, especially for a course with no history at your CEGEP or for a class that departs from its usual pattern. The methodology describes its accuracy and limits.
Do not make an important decision, such as dropping a course, changing programs or giving up on an application, on the strength of an estimate alone. Talk to your academic advisor (API) first and check the requirements with the universities.
Admission R scores
The R scores of the last admitted students, in the Admission R scores pages, come from the statistics that universities publish, cited under each table. They describe past admissions: the required R score can change from one year to the next, and other criteria, such as an exam or an interview, can be added. Universities remain the only official source of their requirements.
No guarantee
myRScore is provided as is, with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or availability. To the extent permitted by law, myRScore is not responsible for decisions made on the strength of its estimates, nor for any interruption of the site.
Reasonable use
The calculator is meant for personal use. It is forbidden to query it in an automated or massive way, in particular to try to extract its data, and to harm the operation of the site.
Independence
myRScore is affiliated neither with the ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, nor with the Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire (BCI), nor with any CEGEP or university.
Intellectual property
The texts, the code, the estimation engine and the logos of myRScore belong to it. The media may use the logos offered on the About page to talk about myRScore.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Québec.
