Estimate my R score

Good to know

  • R scores vary a lot from one university to another: it is therefore best to list several choices in your application.
  • At Université de Montréal, the program takes part in the Profil global project: it therefore has no minimum R score, and the university publishes the average of the students admitted.
  • At Concordia University, the equivalent program is Exercise Science, which requires a minimum R score.

How to read these figures

Unless noted otherwise, the R score in a table is that of the last person admitted: the lowest among those who received an offer. The average, when the university publishes it, shows where most admitted students stand.

These R scores change every year, depending on the number of applications and the strength of the applicants. An equal or higher R score does not guarantee admission, and a slightly lower R score does not rule it out. So apply anyway, with a second and a third choice.

When the selection also takes other criteria into account, such as an exam or an interview, the R score is mostly used to sort applications. The rest is then decided on those other criteria.
